Repeat Prescriptions

SystmOnline

If you are receiving repeat medication, you should have a counterfoil to your prescription that lists all the items. If you do not have a list, our receptionists will be happy to print one off for you. Newly registered patients will need to be seen at the surgery before repeat prescriptions can be issued.

You can order repeat prescriptions in the following ways:

  1. Online – This is available on the NHS app or 24 hours a day via our online booking system. If you have already registered for this service then sign in to Systmonline or download the NHS app.
  2. In Person – Hand your repeat prescription counterfoil in at the surgery indicating which items you require. Please use the box in the entrance lobby or, when the surgery is closed, the letter box to the right of the main door.
  3. By Post – Please send us a stamped addressed envelope if you would like us to return the script to you. Otherwise the script will be available for you – or your pharmacist by arrangement – to collect at reception.

We have stopped receiving requests for repeat prescriptions by telephone for safety reasons as there is a dangerous level of transcription error with telephone re-ordering.

When can I collect my prescription?

Your prescription will be ready within two working days of our receiving your request.
