Welcome to Bramcote Surgery

We hope our website will give you a feel for the practice and how we might serve you and your future health needs. In all our activities we strive to provide first class modern medical care whilst preserving the strengths, values and ethos of traditional General Practice.

Anyone living in the practice area can join the practice. Once registered you can use our integrated online booking system to manage your appointments, order repeat prescriptions and update any changes to your contact details.

We have now gone live with our new Accurx Triage. This is a e-consult system and an easy way for you to send a medication query to your GP. Please try and make your request as specific as possible as it is character counted. You are welcome to call reception instead.

If you require a Med3, please follow these steps first:

If you have been off work for less than 7 days:
– You can self certify for 7 days where you do not require a sick note from your GP- The GP will not issue a sick note unless you have been off work for at least 7 days.

If you have been off work for more than 7 days:
– Only contact your GP if you have been off for 7 days or more.
-Our reception team is required to book a routine GP appointment for our next available day.
-We will also send you a message via Accurx which allows you to respond to us, We will ask that you send us as much information as possible (symptoms etc) as for why you feel you need the sick note. Our next routine appointment may be 1+ weeks away, with sending the information, it documents in your record your first point of contact so the GP knows how far to backdate the sick note/ how long you have been having symptoms for.

Med3/ Sick note renewal.
-If you require another sick note after your current one expires, please try to contact us as soon as possible as it may take a few days for the GP to process your request. We may be required to book another appointment with the GP before renewal but this is not always necessary.
-If you would like to request a renewal online- please follow the link below: (this is only for renewals)
Contact us about your request (accurx.com)
